Wellbeing and health

Singing is known to be one of the best natural resolutions to mental health issues and illnesses. Singing in a group is even better as it can combat loneliness and gives you a gateway to creating new, long-lasting friendships. Rock Choir has helped may people in a range of ways, from positively impacting members with depression, anxiety and helped build confidence.

Singing is known to release endorphins and oxytocin. Endorphins are hormones that increase feelings of pleasure whilst Oxytocin is also known as the “cuddle hormone” - both making you feel better and decreasing any pain you might be feeling!
