Rock Choir™ is 'The Choir That Rocks' ITV!

'The Choir That Rocks', shown in June and again in September 2011, was filmed between January and May 2011 and follows Caroline, her team and the members as they lead to the biggest performance of their lives at Wembley Arena.  The 3 hour-long episodes follow the exciting, emotional and endearing lives of members singing in Glasgow, York, Wakefield, Bournemouth, Farnham, Cheltenham. Watch them singing their hearts out and having fun in Rock Choir.

Created by ‘10Star Entertainment’ and commissioned by ITV Controller of Entertainment John Kaye Cooper whose aim was to produce a 'beautiful documentary' for ITV viewers, the focus is on the human stories. 10star Entertainment’s Executive producer Bea Ballard  is responsible for this exciting new series. She says, “I'm delighted to be working with ITV again on this exciting series commission. Rock Choir is a modern phenomenon - open to all, it's sweeping across the UK, bringing ordinary people together to sing their hearts out to their favourite rock and pop songs. It's a very British success story, full of warmth, passion, and enthusiasm.”

The Rock Choir stories you will follow are incredibly heartwarming, fun, tear jerking, humorous and sometimes, just a little eccentric! We are British, after all! Enjoy the music and follow the paths of all the members as they lead to their biggest performance yet – Wembley!

Also featured in the series was an up-beat and feel-good soundtrack that was available to download from itunes and reached no. 17 in the download chart. Rock Choir ‘Deluxe Edition’ features 20 tracks from the hits in Episode 1, Mr Blue Sky, Dancing in the Street and Mamma Mia/Waterloo, to the final song in episode 3, the ‘Live at Wembley‘ version of ‘Something Inside So Strong’ performed by no less than 7000 Rock Choir members.
