"This is the most challenging but rewarding and fun job I've ever had; it's difficult to classify this role as work! The team are absolutely fantastic and extremely supportive. Even after 6 months I am still feeling the natural high after each session! It's the best job in the world." Jim Hawkins (South London Rock Choir™ Leader)

  • Jan Moll

"I really enjoy working as choir leader. I work with a great team of people, have lots of fun and I am very proud of the choirs I teach, who in a very short space of time have come together to make a fantastic sound. The job satisfaction with this role is tremendous." Jan Moll (Hampshire Rock Choir™ Leader)

  • Maxine Cherrie

"Being a Rock Choir™ Leader means that nearly every weekday night, I get to spend quality time with 50 to 100 of my closest friends." Maxine Cherrie (Cheshire and Lancashire Rock Choir™ Leader)

  • Jennifer Sim

"Being able to train with large 'practice choirs' was invaluable! Its a real credit to the Rock Choir team when you have a room full of people happy to give up a whole morning or evening to allow you to run a practice session with them. Everyone i met was most welcoming and supportive and their feedback was helpful and constructive too. I left the sessions with their best wishes and words of encouragement ringing in my ears!" Jennifer Sim (Glasgow and Central Scotland Rock Choir™ Leader)

  • Pippa Gearing

"As a Rock Choir™ Leader, I get to use all my skills as a professional musician. I get to say I've sung a solo on stage at the Hammersmith Apollo! I use my voice and piano skills every day, no time to get rusty! I’m primarily a session/backing singer more than a lead singer so this role indulges my love of harmony! My choirs are close to home, so I spend my days with my children and I get to be a glamorous Rock Choir™ Leader in the evening! It's never boring! You get to meet new people and make a difference to their lives by introducing the power of music, singing and feeling fabulous!" Pippa Gearing (Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire & Bedfordshire Rock Choir™ Leader)

  • Nik Haley

"It's been so rewarding joining Rock Choir™ as a Choir Leader. I get a genuine sense of having made the members' lives a bit better after each session, and you get a lot of warmth back. Being able to carve out a successful career in music has always been a priority for me, and there's a real sense of progression, a career path that's there for you to make happen. There is always something exciting going on, be it live performances with the members or wider media events with the other leaders. I’m glad to be on board at this period of burgeoning success in the Rock Choir™ story!" Nik Haley (Kent Rock Choir™ Leader)

  • Stef Conner

"The encouragement and support provided by the Rock Choir™ team so far has made the transition into a new and challenging career feel comfortable and unintimidating. It is very exciting to be a brand new Rock Choir™ leader." Stef Conner (North Yorkshire Rock Choir™ Leader)

  • Kathryn Jones

"Coming from a Musical Theatre background I am able to bring my passion for performance through my teaching. If ever you feel down, just get your shoes on and get to a rehearsal, you'll feel better in seconds!
